Welcome to our list of frequently asked questions about roll-off dumpsters. Here are the questions we get asked most often about our company and services. This section also has the answers to the most common questions people have about renting dumpster containers.

How did you start renting out dumpsters?

As a third party cleaning service for premium restaurants, hotels, schools, and other companies, Sandy Springs Dumpster Guys initially got its start. As the project went along, we became aware that despite a high demand, there weren’t enough roll-off dumpsters available for hire. We frequently find ourselves tossing out the rubbish and dumping them into dumpsters that are overflowing. Soon after, we made an investment in dumpster rentals to better serve our clients.

When will the garbage be refilled?

This depends on the contract you have with the company. Since waste management, duration of service, and collection schedule will be discussed beforehand, the dumpster will be collected at the agreed-upon place and on the agreed-upon date, regardless of whether it contains junk.

What size are the dumpsters?

A dumpster’s volume is measured in cubic yards. Usually, waste management organisations that offer dumpster rental services offer fourteen distinct sizes. Keep in mind, however, that other stores may not sell every size, as some may be out of stock.

Call (762) 230-6706 to speak with a corporate specialist about the size. Thus, you may provide an accurate estimate of the amount of trash that needs to be collected from your residence or place of business, and our organisation will then recommend an appropriate container size.

What is placed in the garbage can?

Our company accepts all forms of residential, building, and concrete waste. In addition, soil, stumps, and brush are permitted. Keep in mind, however, that hazardous garbage is forbidden, including toxic chemicals, battery fluid, asbestos, and solvents.

If you need to dispose of these types of trash, contact your local county office; they will be able to supply you with a list of certified Wilmington companies that can securely handle and dispose of hazardous chemicals.

What is the company’s recycling and environmental consciousness policy?

As do many dumpster rental and garbage management businesses, we provide eco-friendly services. The dumpster’s contents are typically thrown in the landfill once the trash has been collected.

However, our company, like the bulk of the Sandy Springs Dumpster Guys, offers rental bins for recyclables. Rarely, some businesses offer to sort your waste for you. You merely need to inquire whether or not they offer this service.

What size do I require?

This will depend on the project’s scope and the estimated amount of garbage that will be generated. Our policy has always been to inform clients of the unit’s weight capacity. If you are uncertain about the amount of waste you will produce, it is recommended that you rent a larger dumpster.

However, smaller dumpsters are preferred for house or business remodelling or renovation. As construction debris, such as cement rocks and other heavy materials, tends to be heavier than regular garbage, weight limits may be surpassed. If you have any questions, please contact us via phone. Our office’s specialists can aid you with this selection.

Before you sign the contract, you should be aware that each town has different dumpster requirements for both residential and commercial properties. Contact your county and learn about the necessary prerequisites. In some situations, the rental business may be able to assist you in gathering the required information. However, you would be responsible for processing it.

What dumpster sizes do you offer?

We offer four sizes for residential, construction and commercial uses: 10 yard, 20 yard, 30 yard and 40 yard.

How do I know what size dumpster to rent?

Call us up to discuss your project, and our customer service team can help you choose the best dumpster for the job.

How much does a dumpster cost?

The cost of a dumpster is made up of several factors: the size of the dumpster, the weight of the debris, the length of the rental period and local taxes and fees. This means that the exact price of a dumpster varies according to location and the specifics of your order. No matter where you’re located or how much you’re disposing of, we offer simple flat-rate pricing on all of our dumpster sizes, so you’ll always know the full price up front. Also, keep in mind that each dumpster has a weight limit. These limits allow for a lot of weight but if you should go above the limit, there is an extra charge.

How do I rent a dumpster?

All it takes is a quick phone call. Our customer service representatives will help you choose a dumpster size and set up your order within minutes.

Will my dumpster have a door?

Most of our dumpsters feature a door that can be opened to carry in items that are too large to toss over the side. The door is located on the end that rolls off the truck first. You’ll need at least eight feet of space in front of the dumpster to open the door completely.

What is the best way to load my dumpster?

It’s best to load a dumpster as evenly as possible. This will allow you to fit more debris inside and help to ensure you don’t overload the dumpster. It’s also important to make sure that no items hang over the side or stick up over the top of the container, since this can make it dangerous for the hauler to pick up the dumpster. Please note that you may be charged an additional fee if your container is overfilled.

Do I need a permit?

You will need to contact your municipality to see if you need a permit for your dumpster.

What do I get aside from the dumpster?

The rental of a rolloff dumpster includes a one-time pickup and delivery date. Standard disposal and fuel fees, along with state taxes are already included in the price. You may request an itemised price list so that you can select the necessary service you need. If there are specific services that you require and are not on our list, please feel free to contact us and we can set up an arrangement for you.

Is It Possible That A Dumpster Could Damage My Driveway?

You can protect your driveway by laying plywood down so that the container can be placed on top of it. During the hot summer months, the weight of the container or the truck can leave indentations in asphalt driveways, which can lead to cracks. The best approach to protect your driveway from damage is to lay plywood over it.

Is there a correct way to put things in a dumpster?

The best way to fill a dumpster is evenly. This will let you put more trash inside and make sure you don’t fill the dumpster too much. Also, make sure that nothing sticks out of the sides or top of the container. This could make it dangerous for the hauler to pick up the dumpster. Please keep in mind that you may have to pay extra if your container is too full.

Should I be home when they deliver or pick up?

You don’t have to be there for the delivery or pickup. On the day of delivery and pickup, just make sure that the spot where you want the dumpster to go is clear and not blocked by cars or anything else that might get in the way. Please also make sure the dumpster is properly filled, with nothing sticking out of the top or hanging over the sides.

Should I put plywood down?

You don’t have to put plywood or anything else down where you want the dumpster to go. But we do recommend it because it will help keep the surface from getting scraped or scratched.

What If The Dumpster Causes Damage?

Getting a dumpster is at your own risk.  Please understand the dumpsters and trucks are very heavy, so it is possible it could cause damage to where you are putting it.  We put wood under the can when placed on the driveway. This almost always protects the driveway, but we do not take responsibility for any damage.

What If It Rains?

All of the excess water will be drained out when the dumpster is picked up and put on the truck. Yes, it could affect the weight if there are things that soak up water. There is nothing we can do about this. We too get charged for that water weight. If you are very worried about it, we suggest you put a tarp tightly over it to keep water out.

Why Do I Get Charged For Overweight?

We take the dumpsters to transfer stations who charge us based on the weight of the dumpster. We include a certain amount of weight in the price you pay for the dumpster. However, if it does go over the weight limit you are charged for the additional weight.

What Happens If My Dumpster Is Overfilled?

Yes, always. At every delivery, we secure the property by laying down wood.

Can the Dumpster Be Moved?

No. We recommend that someone be present at the time of delivery (though it is not essential) or specify exactly where the dumpster should be positioned on the property. If we are unsure, we will place it in the most convenient location available. Call us If you have questions about location.

Can I rent multiple dumpsters?

Most simply put, yes. You can rent as many dumpsters as needed for removing refuse from your business.
